Koi Pond

First, I would like to say that I am not a professional at this. I can only let you know what I have done so far, tell you what has worked and any mistakes that I have made.

The pond I built is approximately 6 feet wide and 10 feet long at the furthest points. I decided not to simply make a square or round pond. I wanted something that would look a little more natural.

Before building the pond, I read a couple of books. One related to the asthetics and placement of the pond. The other was about keeping Koi in a pond, the food to use, types of filters, etc. Reading these books was essential to the succes of the pond. If not for reading up on the subject, I probably would have completely failed at this project.
